Shortstop is the second worst group in the rankings as the position really thins out after the first 5 on the list and even among those there are two whom are only 2 category studs who don't contribute much else. The precipitous drop after that is partially aided by the aging of Derek Jeter and Jimmy Rollins both of whom would have ranked well inside of the top 100 nearly any other year of their illustrious careers.
